Now a days you will need to be familiar with digital graphics techniques including the use of photo shop and other software.Canons, a Fuji, and a Kodak are best digital camera brands.

Learn about photography on a DSLR first – manual exposure, lighting & composition. Don’t even THINK about starting a business until you are thoroughly competent in all 3.

Why do people see Photography as easy money? Anybody with a good camera can do it – right? Wrong, it’s like saying I own a Steinway piano therefore I am a concert pianist and just as ludicrous.

Mastering the camera is the easy part, mastering what you put in front of it is much, much harder.

Even having an idea of what you want to put in front of the camera for the camera to record needs vision and experience, continuing the piano analogy, this means that not only do you have to master the piano, you have to master composition too.

90% of what makes a good photograph happens external to the camera, the camera merely records it. If you think a decent camera will make you a decent photographer you are sadly mistaken.

I hate to say it, but I agree. If you have no idea what you’re looking for in a camera, then you probably are not read. However, there are a few things you can do first:

Practice with some point and shoots you already have
Read some photography magazines, blogs, forums
Do some research

However, to give you an actually answer, the Canon 7d is a very versatile and high end camera. Pretty easy to pick up and use it for such a high end camera.

A pro who is ready to start their own business would already know exactly what they need and have the skills and experience to back it up. You clearly do not.

Please be realistic and learn the ins and outs of photography and business before jumping into making money. It’s not as simple as you’re making it out to be.

If you need to ask this, you're not ready. Seriously. You're especially not ready to even think about photographing weddings. Do yourself a favour, learn the basics of photography and get a lot of experience. Then you'll be ready to answer your own question.

Yes it is! I use all those programs and I’m a Digital Art/Graphics Art/Film producer major… and yeah those are part of Digital Media.

"It can refer to the technical aspect of storage and transmission (e.g. hard disk drives or computer networking) of information or to the "end product", such as digital video, augmented reality or digital art."
