It doesn’t work that way. Why would someone pay you for something they can do themselves.
In any crowd you will find someone that thinks the same way you do.
To differentiate yourself, you have to offer them something they cannot do on their own. This starts at learning composition, then it moves towards how to light something, even if there is plenty of sunlight. This basically covers things like scrim, reflectors, and fill flash. Once you have that mastered, your looking at white balance and a lot of critiques.
On to printing, you will need a custom printer profile along with a profiled monitor, At this point you need to consider paper, this must be profiled too.
All these requirements will cost you a fortune. At least a year of wages. Don’t forget ink, there are two kinds, dye based and pigment based, the dye will fade in the sun, the pigment won’t, but even then you must consider the profiled paper, is it acid and lingon free? If not the prints will yellow over time and fade badly.
At a minimum you need k3 ultrachrome inks. You need a minimum Epson printer 3000 or higher series. You will need a D300-D700-D3 or higher, or 50D or mark II or higher.
This is not even scratching the surface, if you want to be in business, you will need an additiional 50,000 in equipment and a ton of critiques. Juried showings and a lot of confidence, minimum.
Buying equipment doesn’t make you a photographer anymore than being in a garage makes you a car. It takes tremendous experience and time, equipment too. Your idea of a printer and camera is bound for failure if you don’t take care of business first.
